What happened to the caveman?

Recently I had the opportunity to chat with the caveman to see what he’s been up to.

Rebecca:  You know, you have a lot of fans who want to know where you are and what you’ve been doing.

Caveman:  Yeah, I know.  I try to remain a man of mystery.  But seriously, I just got back from Alaska and Florida — I like to go from one extreme to another.

Rebecca:  It sounds like it!  What were you doing in Alaska?

Caveman:  Well, I had the opportunity to work with the Hillstrand brothers of “The Deadliest Catch,” so I went out there for a glimpse of Time Bandit. It was an interesting trip … we
got stranded going from Anchorage to Homer because of major avalanches.  Never thought I would have to worry about avalanches.

Rebecca:  Sounds exciting.

Caveman:  Well, the exciting part was getting the key to the city in Homer.  Thank you, Homer!

Rebecca:  That is quite the honor.  What else have you been up to these days?

Caveman:  I met Mike Green of the Washington Capitals a few months ago and most recently met Ryan Zimmerman of the Nats.  Both stand-up guys.

Rebecca:  Yes, I seem to recall seeing some television commercials with you and Mike Green.  Some people have asked you why you keep working with GEICO if we keep saying things
to offend you.

Caveman:  Yeah, I have gotten a few “tweets” on that.  I just keep trying with your company.

Rebecca:  I know you are opposed to that “So easy …” line, but it really seems to work for us – especially in the recent promotion of the GEICO Glovebox(SM) app.

Caveman:  Yeah.  Whatever.  I tried showing off your little iPhone app and then you had to start with me again.  By the way, I’m still looking for my suede jacket … with the fringe.  Oh,
and inventing fire? Come on!

Unfortunately, that was what ended our little chat.  I did happen to catch that the caveman is on Twitter and Facebook.  So, keep an eye out there for more news on our prehistoric friend.
