At GEICO, we take great pride in our ability to uncover excellent talent to join the GEICO family. One of the ways we find fantastic students, who will one day make significant contributions to the GEICO mission, is through the GEICO Achievement Award Program.

We realize it takes a tremendous amount of hard work and commitment to achieve outstanding results.  For more than 25 years, we have had the great privilege to support students who demonstrate the character and qualities to be successful in school, business and life! These awards are given to undergraduate students in recognition of their academic excellence and demonstrated dedication to their campuses and surrounding communities.

To be eligible for a GEICO Achievement Award, students must be sophomores or juniors majoring in business, math or computer science, and must have earned at least a 3.0 overall GPA. Our selection committee also requires each applicant to submit a resume and transcript, a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, and an essay describing why they deserve to receive the award.

These 55 extraordinary students stood out among hundreds of applicants in demonstrating the accomplishments and character consistent with success, and they are the winners of the 2013 GEICO Achievement Awards. These qualities help people build rewarding careers, businesses succeed, and communities thrive. We are excited to reward such outstanding accomplishments!

This program helps some very talented and selfless students realize their academic ambitions.  If you know a high-achieving college sophomore or junior majoring in business, math or computer science, please encourage them to apply! The 2014 program application window opens this upcoming fall semester.
