From campus to corporate: a tale of two Wildcats

GEICO’s college recruiters have great jobs! Their mission: scour universities for future business leaders who want to work for a company filled with opportunity and great people. Two of our newest associates, Emily and Caitlin, December 2012 grads from the University of Arizona, first learned about careers at GEICO during campus visits. They interviewed and were offered summer internships in our Tucson office, also known as Region 10.

After their impressive run as interns, both Emily and Caitlin were invited to stay onboard as university brand ambassadors; they attended recruiting and marketing events, and even represented GEICO during the U of A homecoming last fall!

Both grads exhibit the qualities we look for in candidates for our fast-track Supervisor Leadership Program: bright, driven, strong communication and problem-solving skills, business acumen, proven leadership potential and a positive attitude. All of the pieces seemed to fit, for both GEICO and these Wildcats – and you can hear first-hand about their journey from student to GEICO associate on the newest GEICO Careers podcast.

Your witch-fliying commercial is the utmost BEST. First time I saw that ad I laughed outloud and called all me favorite people to tell them to watch. It could also be that it came out right at  my favorite holiday,Halloween.   Keeo up the good work with fun ads.
