Memory of the Month: Anchors aweigh!

Each month, we share an image from GEICO’s past and invite you to exercise your caption-writing skills.
Based on some of the legends I’ve heard about long-ago goings-on in this fountain, which still graces the corporate headquarters, whatever this young woman is up to seems pretty benign. It appears she’s christening a model sailboat that’s about to venture out upon the bounding main – and risk another soaking under the many jets of water.
These days, of course, GEICO can help people obtain boat insurance to protect human-sized boats and their owners. But back then, that wasn’t the case, so if this boat met an untimely end in the rough waters of the fountain, its owner would have to bear the full expense.
What’s your best guess as to what’s going on here?

I cristen you the “Lillian”. May you be blessed with smooth waters and gentle breezes for continued economic success.
The Sally Boat is drinking before take-off? Sally better have some good boat insurance…
This is the prequel to Gilligans Island. Mary Anns last day of work before setting sail.
Ahh, the good ole days when a gal could drink beer and play in the water fountain at lunch
The Gecko’s first attempt at traveling across America to spread the word about GEICO’s savings went terribly wrong when Suzie got a little too tipsy at his send off party.
Good luck Liliputians! Here is some of grandpa’s old cough medicine to see you on your way! All hail Liliput!
“Hey little guys, I found this bottle floating in here with a note in it. Here, let me give you something to read on your journey. Says something about a Gecko here at Geico, cute play on words!!”
The Christening of the USS Gecko went swimmingly today, however, there were less than stellar turnouts after Lillian had a few extra cocktails and decided the ship’s crew deserved some “additional celebratory lavations”. More on this story at 11.
Girl in picture: Gotta get this old girl ship-shape for the Gecko’s trip to Europe.
Gecko (out of frame): Why, thank you very kindly.
“and this is for the homies who are longer with us…”
“Hey skipper! Gullivers wife is trying to drown us in this sweet barley and hopps flavored water”
She laughing because in about five minutes this will a fountain of bubbles.
It’s always the best to be the first one out for recess. If you don’t get the boat, all you can do is play in traffic.
Guilliver’s wife has sought her revenge!
Ah man, my comments have been broken for 2 months, finally works today and I lost 1st place on the Guilliver’s wife joke ;(
