The New Year is already proving to be very good for GEICO. We continue to be one of the nation’s fastest-growing auto insurers. We are one of the only auto carriers in the nation to offer the ability to buy a policy completely via mobile devices. And we celebrate our 75th anniversary this year. As our CEO, Tony Nicely, would say, “There’s never been a better time to be a GEICO associate.” Those of us on the hiring teams couldn’t agree more!
When people think of GEICO, they may think we’re hiring sales representatives. Well, we are. From New York to Hawaii and Alaska to Florida, we’re hiring by the hundreds in sales, customer service, claims and auto damage. However, our college recruiters are also on campus right now talking about analyst opportunities and our Supervisor Leadership Program. The IT recruiters are busy hiring developers and programmers.
So, why would someone want to work at GEICO? In 2010, nearly 20 percent of our associates were promoted, which is fantastic!
