See the brand-new GEICO Gecko commercials

There’s a new GEICO commercial campaign featuring the Gecko. He’s out of the office and hosting a radio show called GEICO Radio. (Pretty witty, right?) And he’s taking questions from you. If you could ask the Gecko anything, what would you ask him?
And remember, he’s flattered by the marriage proposals but he’s not looking for anything serious right now.
I like the first one best.
We like the older gentleman commercials better.

By the way, Gecko, can you tell us which country of origin you come from? One of your commercials awhile back hinted but never revealed the country.
These are OK, but the commercials with the gecko and the warm, engaging CEO are far superior.
I simply adore all the Geico commercials. As long as it has my little geico in it. I love you.
Too stinkin’ cute, I LOVE YOU gecko!!!! Peg, I think he’s from Australia…..could be wrong though. Sometimes Aussies sound English, and vice versa.
Please, what is the name of the song on the new Geico motorcycle commercial. The one with the blue graphics. I seem to remember it, from, well somewhere… But can’t find it on iTunes. HELP! No one else seems to know either.
The older guy, is not the CEO. He is some sort of upper middle management — and clueless — marketing guy. Too old for a corporate environment, but maybe GEICO has some policy against age discrimination. Good for GEICO!
The older gentleman & Gecko trust each other as WE TRUST GEICO. A day without Gecko is like a day without GEICO. What a SCARY place to be.
I LOVE THE GECKO!!!! what about the one that was on the supper bowl, silver teeth, dressed like Micheal Jackson?? only saw it that once. you need to show that one on TV, people will flip!! it was GREAT!!!!!!!!

I like the commercials with the older gentleman they are the perfect team , please bring him back . love you gecko
The Gecko radio show TV commercials aren’t very good. The first one is mildly amusing, but the Blue Car one is downright bad. The new “Does it take two to tango?” commercial is much better than either of these.
Please bring the commercial with the gecko and the older man, thay are so much better and so much better done. This radio one with the more or less dense you man is really very bad.
We like the “i’m not ya Daddy, i’m your Grandpa” commercial where the old man cartoon is dancing… too funny. Also the Does it take 2 to Tango is funny… awkwardly funny
I love the Gecko!! I look forward to all the new commercials and can usually put a name to the actors if they’ve been on tv or in movies. However I am having troubles figuring out the name of the actor in the newest spots as the hosts of the radio show. I’ve seen him before but can’t remember his name. Who is he??

His name is Steve and he likes the color blue…hmmm…I don’t know who the fellow is but he looks and sounds a lot like Steve Burns from Blues Clues, doesn’t he?
Hi, I LOVE the wee wee wee comercial. They should do one……”Does Sally sell seashells down by the seashore?” Then cut to ..well…Sally selling seashells down by the seashore! That would be hysterical!….Just a thought!
Wow, the radio host is Ace Enders from The Early November! weird….
Please bring back the CEO. He and the Gecko had something that cannot be easily replaced. His timing was absolutely wonderful. My two favorites were the Gecko’s phone and credit card and the one when the blond mistakes him for a past affair.

I like the new commercials. It was time for a change. I don’t know who the young guy is, but he’s adorable. I hope he gets alot more work from this exposure.
This radio hot commercial is the funniest Geico ad I have seen, since the shower one. The way the host looks up in the ginormous callers, record book. So funny.lol.
The guy calling in to the radio station sounds like Jauquin Phoenix….

I agree that the older gentlemen and the gecko is great.
If you guys were smart, you were merge the money stack and the gecko in one commercial, but what do we know, we are just the public.
This is just yet another PC commercial where men are portrayed as idiots, and women act like men, and men think like women.
It’s lame, outdated thinking, and just awful. Geico should pull this ad, it’s off-putting to guys.

I can honestly say with no hesitation that the Geico Radio commercials, especially the one about the blue car, are the absolute worst ads I’ve ever seen. Whose idea was it to cast some effete kid with no personality as the star? And “is one of them blue? Because I’d go with the blue one” is worthy of a facepalm.
Who’s the target audience for this garbage, exactly?
I totally did not “get” the blue car commercial. At all. I thought maybe because he is also clutching a blue ball that the man was from the children’s show “Blue’s Clues.” It seemed just utterly pointless! I googled about Blues clues and a q&a site had a quetsion answered about the commercial that said it was supposed to be joking at the stereotypical idea that guys are gear heads and girls just like it to look nice. If that is true, it doesnt communicate the joke well at all.
I also wonder if ad execs get reports on the blog comments and go “No one gets the commercial, YES!” “That bloke just spent god knows how long googling ‘geico,’ ITS WORKING!” “Good job, Johnson- no one would have done that if we had made the commercial intelligible!” etc
This kid is probably some executive’s son or something because these commercials have absolutely nothing to them. NOTHING.] Every time they air I change the channel. Also, I’m a Geico customer and am genuinely contemplating changing insurers because of these ads. I’m not kidding. And anyone posting above that they like “the radio host” is obviously him.
The dorky kid is awful, he looks like Facebook’s founder… the “Geico Radio” commercials just do not work for my family…
I like the radio host. He’s cute. And the almost non-sequitur aspect to the “is it blue” question is funny. (Also like the weeeeee! ride home commercial cuz it’s so idiotic in a funny way.)
The young announcer looks like the guy in the half nelson/full nelson portion of Rhett and Link’s “Epic Rap Battle”. Check out RhettandLink on their youtube channel.

I hate most commercials. I read in blog posts above this one about all the people who don’t get the Geico Radio kid who likes blue. Personally I love the commercial. It isn’t that the kid is cute, it isn’t that he is meant to represent the fem side of males or what ever. The commercial is about remembering Geico and the object of the commercial worked. Think about it everyone, Those thinking the kid hot or cute or even those hating his guts are doing so because they saw him on a Geico Commercial… Frankly speaking I would shake the boys hand if I ever met him. and I do hope he gets more of the Geico Commercials in the future. This blog discussion alone is genuine proof of that. My odd sense of humor found it funny and light hearted. In this day and time we need a lot more of that. It’s a fun commercial, and to me that makes it a great one.

my nephew and I love the older man & the gecko. I don’t think there is one commercial that we don’t like. Please bring them back together. I don’t watch the new commercials.
