Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the crisp, cool weather, college football and the many festivals celebrating the season. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here are a few places you might catch the Gecko.

NASCAR fans, tune in to watch Casey Mears pilot the GEICO No. 13 Toyota in this week’s Sprint Cup race at Dover. In Texas, race fans can follow GEICO’s NHRA Team with Morgan Lucas and Karen Stoffer at the 25th Annual O’Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals in Dallas. Daytona Sportbike fans in Alabama, check out GEICO Powersports rider Danny Eslick at Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham.

In Albuquerque, you can watch a rodeo, a concert or visit the many multicultural exhibits at the New Mexico State Fair. In North Carolina, the Festival in the Park offers good music, good art and good times to the people of Charlotte. The people of New York can visit The Great Pumpkin Farm’s Fall Festival in Clarence. Those in Ohio can celebrate the harvesting of local grapes at the Geneva Grape Jamboree. GEICO stunt pilot Tim Weber can be seen flying over Kaneohe Bay at Blues on the Bay in Hawaii this weekend. In Washington, D.C., make sure you stop by the Fiesta DC 2010 and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with music, folklore, crafts and other performing arts exhibitions.

Golfers, we’ll be heading to Georgia for The Tour Championship presented by Coca-Cola in Atlanta. Like college football? We do! We’ll be at the University of Pittsburgh when they play the University of Miami. We’ll also be doing some tailgating at the University of Cincinnati when they play the University of Oklahoma. And we’ll find out if the Trojans or Cougars prevail when Washington State University hosts the University of Southern California this weekend.

For those of you who like to feel the wind in your hair and are gearing up for a motorcycle ride this weekend, we’ll be hanging out at the Bikes, Blues and BBQ in Fayetteville, Ark. If a rally is more your style, we recommend the Street Vibrations Fall Rally in Reno, Nev., or the Thunder Beach Autumn Rally in Panama City, Fla. If you stop by, make sure you say hello to the Gecko!

We’ll join music lovers in Bristow, Va., at the Sugarland concert and in Dallas at the Rush Time Machine Tour show. Of course, we do like country music and the people of Maryland can stop by to say hello at Sunday in Country with Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, Joe Nichols and more in Columbia.

Seafood lovers, take note: in Florida, the 33rd Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival boasts grilled conch, seafood gumbo, soft shell crab and more. And in Virginia, the 37th Annual Neptune Festival on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront celebrates its Boardwalk Weekend Grand Finale with a fireworks extravaganza. If you like boats, check out Miss GEICO in Connecticut at the Norwalk Boat Show.

If this doesn’t keep you busy, I don’t know what will! I’d love to hear from you if you stop by any of these events or happen to run into the Gecko. And if you think we’ve left anything out in your hometown, please share what you will be doing this weekend with all of us!

I sure hope the Geico Gecko chopper is being built by Paul Jr. designes and not OCC. Paul Jr. was ALWAYS the talent that made that shop what it is-was.
